Next Sunday we will drive to Carlingford and take a walk which we haven’t done since last summer. Carlingford and surroundings
We shall leave the town and walk up the path taking the route which passes the activity centre.
There might be a muddy patch where we skirt the trees but hopefully this shouldn’t be too bad, provided there is no heavy rainfall, but we suggest that you wear boots.
The walk is quite a strenuous one and usually takes 4-5 hrs.
Bring your lunch and drink, and after walk drinks can be had in Carlingford.
Meet-up:- We shall commence the walk from the main car park in Carlingford at 10.30. The drive from Belfast is usually just over an hour.
