Christmas 2021
We have decided to forgo our usual walk & dinner in favour of a walk followed by a ‘picnic’
Walk – meet up at 12.30 at the main car park of Colinglen, we intend to walk into upper Colinglen crossing the stream and on to the Colinglen waterfall. Please note that upper Colinglen is very muddy and slippy so boots and sticks are essential.
Festivities – our esteemed colleague / photographer / physio Dan Turley has kindly allowed us to use his back garden which is only a minute from the Colinglen car park. We have arranged for a pizza maker and oven to make fresh pizzas as well as the usual Christmas treats of mulled wine and mince pies, chocolates etc. and other treats to be confirmed. We will provide tables and chairs and we hope to erect a large gazebo to keep us dry if it rains and Dan will allow us to use his toilets !!!
For catering purposes could you let us know by Saturday 20th November if you would like to partake of the ‘picnic’ as the pizza maker needs to make the dough fresh. Please feel free to bring your own drinks. We ask everyone to pay £15 per head to cover food costs, which you can bring with you!
