For our last walk before the hour changes, we thought that we would walk the Cooley mountains in Carlingford. We haven’t walked this for a long time so it will be nice to get reacquainted with this lovely part of the country again.
As many of you know, there is a muddy patch on this route so if there is a lot of rainfall preceding our walk it might be a bit mucky underfoot, so boots will be required. The walk usually takes 4-5 hrs.
Bring your usual lunch and drink and apee walk drinks will be in Carlingford
Meet-up:- We shall commence the walk from the main car park in Carlingford at 10.30. The drive from Belfast is just over an hour.
