Next week we are going to walk around Carnmoney Hill. There are a couple of steep climbs, so boots and sticks are recommended.
We will begin at the Sovereign Centre, formerly the Redfern Social Activity Centre, car park. The address is 43 Knocknenagh Ave BT36 6BE
Coming from Belfast, go to the end of the M5, then turn towards Carrick and take the left at the first roundabout onto Station Rd. Proceed through the next roundabout to O’Neills Road and a few hundred yards along on the right is Knocknenagh Avenue, which will take you directly to the Centre
Alternatively, if it is easier for you to travel up the Antrim Rd, then turn right down O’Neills Rd, go through the first roundabout, and Knocknenagh Avenue is on the left-hand side of the road
