Our next walk has been postponed from the first Sunday to the second Sunday due to the extended bank holiday
We thought that we would go to Rathlin Island for our June walk, this will also coincide with the Puffins breeding season so it should be quite a trip.
We have reserved 16 spaces on the fast ferry which leaves Ballycastle at 9.30, returning at 4.15, the return price is £11.60.
These spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, so could I urge anyone who want to participate in the Rathlin Island walk to book their places ASAP?

Because space on the ferry will be limited I would urge all walkers to book / reserve a place before going to Ballycastle, as they may not be any free spaces aboard the ferry on the day.
Walk Details
8.00 am – this would be the recommended leaving time from Belfast
9.00 am – We will meet up at the Ballycastle ferry port, once parked, we will get our tickets and board the ferry
9.30am SHARP – the ferry will depart, arriving at on Rathlin at 9.55am
10.00 am – We hope to take bus to the west of the island
Free time to take a tour of bird sanctuary, tour of island and walk back to main town
16.15pm – Return from Rathlin
16.40pm – Arrive at Ballycastle.
