Monthly walk – 6th Sunday Sept 26 – North Antrim

For September’s walk, we are going to walk from Dunseverick Harbour car park to Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. This car park is free to use & has toilets nearby.

Please note that it is the Harbour car park, NOT the castle car park

We will meet at the car park at 10.20 for a 10.30 start

We shall walk via Portbradden Harbour, Whitepark Bay beach & Ballintoy

The high tide for Whitepark Bay is 9.11 & 17.16, so this area leading up and down to the beach should be  passable without getting our feet wet

The visitors centre at Carrick-a-rede is open, so we can use the toilets, eat lunch and grab a coffee before returning to Dunseverick harbour. Depending on the weather, the walk should not take more than five hours.

Below is a Google Maps link to the harbour car park
