Welcome to our last walk before the hour changes. We are going to Carlingford for a loop walk ascending to Sleve Foy. Details below
Meet in the car park beside the Carlingford Tourist Office at 10.20 am for a 10.30 am departure. The Car Park is easy to see on Market Street.
Initially, the route will follow the ‘Tain Way ‘ before veering off towards the deserted village.
We then follow the hill profile up and over Barnavave and onto Slieve Foye.
The 360° panoramic views from the top are spectacular. Then we will descend back to Carlingford.
