We are returning to Rathlin on the 2nd June which coincides with the maritime festival and the puffins returning to the island.
There are a few things to note, there is a new ferry timetable, our plan is to get the 40-minute “slow” ferry at 10’oclock and the fast ferry back at 4.15 this should give us ample time to enjoy some nice walks.
I know some people intend to travel over on Saturday and spend the two days walking.
Arriving at about 10.45 we intend to try a new walk on the island which will include the East Lighthouse. Some people who haven’t been before will probably want to walk to the bird sanctuary. Then we can all meet at 3-3.30 at the bar to get on the 4.15 ferry.
PLEASE EVERYONE BOOK YOUR OWN FERRY CROSSING BY PHONING THE FERRY COMPANY AND RESERVING YOUR TICKET. THEN YOU MUST PICK IT UP IN GOOD TIME.
