July’s walk will be to Slieve Gullion south Armagh.
The Ring of Gullion offers stunning views of the south Armagh countryside. It is steeped in history and legends, including the passage tomb and Calliagh Berra’s lake at its summit.
We will meet up at the main car park of the visitors centre at Slieve Gullion. We would hope to start at 10.30 from the car park.
Car parking is now charged at the centre, so walkers may want to car share.
Sorry for not adding a start time to the Sleve Gullion walk.
If anyone wishes to car share, then meet up at McDonald’s at Sprucefield at 9.30, that should leave ample time to travel to Slieve Gullion
