Next week’s Tuesday evening walk will be our old favourite Divis. We will meet at the main car park at 6.30, climb to the summit of Divis, and return via the road and the ridge trail. The walk should be a little over two hours.
As we have several new walkers coming to the walks we want to emphasis that the walk on Sunday is very steep leaving the village of Carlingford and there is a section that is off-trail and can be wet and muddy. We have been unable to reconnoitre the walk recently and cannot be definitive as to current conditions
Walking boots are recommended, and please wear appropriate clothing for a 4 1/2 to 5-hour hike.
