Next Tuesday’s evenings walk is on Divis and Black Mountain where the Our Place in Space installation is currently positioned.
Meet-up at the main Divis car park at 6.15.
Sunday 3rd July – Rathlin Island
We are returning to Rathlin on the 3rd July, our plan is to get the 40-minute “slow” ferry at 10’oclock and the fast ferry back at 4.00 this should give us ample time to enjoy a decent walk.
We haven’t planned a route but we feel it likely that most of us will walk to the RSPB bird platform and some may wish to view the puffins There is also a walk to the East Lighthouse and, a favourite of mine, one to the bottom of the island where there are usually seals bathing. Then we can all meet at 3-3.30 at the bar to get on the 4.00 ferry.
PLEASE, EVERYONE, BOOK YOUR OWN FERRY CROSSING BY PHONING THE FERRY COMPANY AND RESERVING YOUR TICKET. THEN YOU MUST PICK IT UP IN GOOD TIME. Check your journey time to Rathlin.
