As the weather forecast looks to be fair for tomorrow we have decided to walk part of the Sheepland Way, from Ballyhornan near Downpatrick to St Patrick’s Well
This walk goes along the coast and offers amazing views of the sea. It is an out-and-back walk, so we will be returning using the same path
We are hoping to have lunch in the abandoned Church which is approx 0.5 miles from St Patrick’s Well
This walk goes along the coast, so stout shoes & usual waterproofs will be required
Meet-up Ballyhornan car park at 10.30, although this is a fair-sized car parking, if it is full it’s possible to park along the road further down towards Killard Point. The journey should take just over an hour but please check from your location.
